Transparency

 

I have designed a health store that acts as an alternative to the major supermarkets. It turns the traditional supermarket approach upside-down. Its focus is educating the public how to lead a healthy lifestyle and make the weekly shopping trip an enjoyable experience. It supports local suppliers by renting spaces to local butchers and bakers etc. The store also acts as a venue for community events and a gallery space to support local arts. The design of the store is a reflection of the wants and needs of the local community.
