Sonic Stand Point Legacy
I plan to bring the sound of the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth games to the whole of Scotland by using informational gathering 'javelins' dropped throughout Scotland's many cities, villages and landmarks. The aim is to capture Scottish excitement by inviting the public to cheer for the 70 nations competing in the games and by transporting live audio elements from all sporting events through the 'javelins'. Once the Games have finished the 'javelins' will be transported and connected to become one legacy structure on the Riverside of Glasgow. The complete design will create a walkway that will be reactive to movement, triggering lights and audio elements captured in Scotland.
