Education Centre for Applied Biomimicry

 

I have designed an Education Centre for Applied Biomimicry, located in New Orleans, on the banks of the Mississippi River. Consisting of Lecture Theatres, Workshops, Libraries, Cafes and Exhibition Spaces it will be a vibrant space for Educators, Professionals and members of the public to learn about Biomimicry and how it can be incorporated into our lives. Nature holds solutions to many of the problems we face today and through using biomimetic principles in our design process we could improve our quality of life, as well as seriously reduce the impact natural disasters have on our built environment.
